School Polices

General Discipline

  1. Each student must carry his/her School Diary to school every day. It must have his/ her her photograph  with complete  information duly  signed by his/her parent/ guardians.
  2. Students must be present for at least 90% of the working days.
  3. Half day leave will not be permitted to any child. However, in case of sickness or an emergency the child will be allowed to go home earlier than the normal school closing time.
  4. No student should damage any school furniture or write anything on the walls or furniture. Concerned student will be required to compensate for the damage.
  5. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles, Mobile Phone, Ornaments to school. Kindly label all the belongings clearly.
  6. Parents and guardians should not visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms, without permission of the school authorities.
  7. Good manners, habits of obedience and order, neatness in person and dress and punctuality are required at all times.
  8. The students are to walk smartly in a queue and maintain silence whenever they move about in corridors. During working hours, order and silence is to be maintained  around the premises. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed.
  9. Student will not be allowed to enter the school premises before 7:30 a.m. and after school working hours unless specified by the school authorities.

Attendance & Leave

Attendance in school during the school session is compulsory.

  1. Absence for more than three days after the school reopens will be called for strict disciplinary action.
  2. Students must be punctual for class lessons and school activities.
  3. Absence without valid reason will not be condoned.
  4. A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should submit a Medical certificate issued by a doctor to the class teacher.
  5. A letter from parent/guardian should be submitted to the class teacher in case of any kind of absence.
  6. Repeated absence without leave application for more than six consecutive days renders the student’s admission cancelled. 
  7. A student suffering from contagious disease will not be permitted to attend school. He/ She can resume school on submitting a medical certificate after the quarantine period.
  8. No student should be absent for an examination or test except when prevented by reasons of health, in which case a medical certificate is to be submitted on the day the child resumes school.

Code of Conduct

BMCB PUBLIC SCOOL students  are expected to have the right attitude towards learning and be disciplined. All students  are expected to know and follow the basic principles that will help them to achieve a high standard of personal discipline.

These principles are as follows:

  • Students must follow  the rules  laid by the school.
  • Students  must respect themselves and the people around them .
  • Students must bear responsibility for their own actions and be accountable. They must know that any             irresponsible act has consequences not only for themselves but also for others.
  • Students must build good relationships with family members, teachers, friends and other children. Good relationships help to bond people together and create mutual understanding and support.
  • When mistakes  are committed, students must reflect and learn from them. They must be able to go through the process of self – realization and learn not to repeat the same mistake .

Regarding School Leaving Certificate : Written application must be given one month prior. Certificate will be issued only to the parent of the ward conditioned to the clearance of all the dues.

Admission : 

  • Admission is open to all eligible students irrespective of caste, colour and creed from Nursery to Std.12 .
  • A very careful selection of students  is made and the school demands a high standard in ideals  and  attainments.
